Organizational Excellence Specialists

Dawn Ringrose is Principal of Organizational Excellence Specialists and has consulted to management in areas that positively contribute to organisational performance since 1984.  She has worked across the public, private, and non-profit sectors with small, medium, and large organisations and several of these organisations have earned national excellence awards.

Recognized by her peers with the Fellow Certified Management Consultant designation and the Quality & Excellence Builder Award, Dawn is currently the representative for Canada on the Global Benchmarking Network (GBN) and the Organizational Excellence Technical Committee (OETC).

In 2010, Dawn authored a unique publication to assist with the excellence journey entitled the Organizational Excellence Framework (OEF) and an accompanying turnkey toolkit (2012) that includes scenario games, workshops, automated assessment and reporting tool and train-the-trainer program. These tools are currently being used by professionals in over 50 countries and the automated tool is being used to conduct the ‘first global assessment on the state of organisational excellence’.

    The ‘First Global Assessment on the Current State of Organizational Excellence’ was launched in 2015 by the Organizational Excellence Technical Committee QMD, ASQ and has been supported by the Global Benchmarking Network, ISO Technical Committee 176 and International Academy for Quality. It provides data on the extent to which organisations have a culture committed to excellence and have deployed best management practices common to high performing organisations. Previous research has focused on the organisations that have successfully applied excellence models. This global study is unique as it has gathered data from a more varied population along a continuum of low to high awareness about excellence models. For the first time, the aggregate findings from this study provide a snapshot of the current state of organisational excellence around the world and provide a summary of the strengths and opportunities for improvement by organisation size, industry sector and geographical region.
